28 Weeks!!!!

Man, time flies by so FAST!!!! It feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant, and now here we are at 28 weeks! Only 12 weeks, at the MOST, left! I am so ready to meet my little man! Well, I have said all along that I was not going to to the 4D sonogram, BUT I have changed my mind! When I went to the doctor Tuesday, they had my appointment wrong and had me down for a sonogram on accident. So, needless to say, I got really excited! I talked to Brad when I got home, and we decided we couldn't wait till 37 weeks to see him again!! We go next Friday for the 4D sonogram! I can't wait to see how big he is, and try to figure out who he looks like! I have a feeling he is going to look like his daddy, which would be GREAT! :) Anyway, his heartbeat was 148 on Tuesday, and my check up went great! I will definitely post pics of the sonogram next Friday!

Gatlinburg

Well, I decided to post a couple of maternity pics on here! I look don't like seeing myself in pictures because I look huge! :) HA! Anyway, the other pictures are from our recent trip to Gatlinburg, TN with our youth group for the Xtreme Winter Conference! It was AMAZING!!!! We got to hear a lot of great speakers and bands! We were able to enjoy hearing Tony Nolan, Matt Pitt (founder of "The Basement"), Ergun Caner, and Johnny Hunt! They were all really unbelievable. We were led in worship each day by Unhindered, and also got to hear Flyleaf, Kutless, Casting Crown, Newsong, and more! It was a GREAT experience, and we had a BLAST on our first adventure with the youth! I am looking forward to MANY more! We got back New Year's Eve at about midnight, and Brad left again early Saturday morning! He is at Passion in Atlanta, GA with a group of our college students! I know it is absolutely amazing! I am a little jealous I have to say...he is getting to hear some of my favorite speakers! Anyway, that is just a little of what has been going on with us lately! I go to the doctor tomorrow for a check up! I can't wait to hear our little man's heart beat, and my mom is getting to go with me since Brad will be driving back from Atlanta! Well, time to finish enjoying the season premier of The Bachelor :)!!!!

MAJOR Update!!!! :)

So, I haven't updated our blog in months! Here goes...so as you can see from previous post, we had been trying for a year and couple of months to have a baby! Well, as MOST of you know, we are now expecting a precious baby boy, Patton Bradley, April 2nd. I am 27 weeks and 2 days! It has been a WONDERFUL experience so far! God has truly blessed Brad and I beyond what we ever could have imagined! Not only have we been blessed with the soon to be new addition to our family, but He has also blessed us with an AMAZING youth group and new church family at FBC Florence! We expected to be in Ft. Worth, TX right now, but God had other plans for us! He has really opened my eyes, and I have learned to FULLY trust in Him at ALL times with EVERYTHING!!!! Well, that is just a quick little update, and I PROMISE I am going to update on a regular basis (especially when I have pics of Patton to post)!!!!

I wanted to do a quick update on our whole "having a baby" issue! HA! Well, as you know, I have been on clomid for 2 months, and no, it hasn't worked yet. What it has done is made me gain 7 pounds! This is a BIG deal for me! The first month, I thought everything was fine and I had not suffered from any side effects. The second month has been TOTALLY different. Not only have I gained the weight (and my eating habits have changed NONE), but I have been a HUGE ball of emotions! Well, Brad and I have been praying and feel that when it is God's timing for us to have a baby, then we will! So, I am done with the medicine! I have a peace about it, and I know it is in God's hands, but in the back of my mind I can't help but wonder, "What if I try it just one more month! Maybe this is the month!" So please pray that I will follow my heart and know that what we have decided is right. I know we have a lot going on right now, and when it is our time, God is going to bless us with that miracle!!!!

Following God!!

Well, I know I have not updated lately on what is going on with Brad and I, so here goes! :) As you all know, we are suppose to be headed to Texas in July for Brad to start Seminary. He hasn't finished his undergraduate degree, so he will have to do that first. Brad had a conference call last week with his advisor from Southwestern to make sure on about how long it would take him to get his Bachelor's Degree...well, it didn't go as we thought. He informed Brad that it would take him about 3 years...yes, 3 years!!!! As most of you know, Brad and I both went to Mississippi State, and he has 90 + hours there! SO, it would take him about 2 or 3 semesters to finish his undergrad there! Needless to say, we are praying VERY hard that God will show us His will for our lives, and where He wants us. We don't want to necessarily take the "easy way out", but we want to follow what God has out there for us. Please keep us in your prayers that we will follow His will and go where He wants us and can use us!!!!

As some of you already know, Brad and I have been trying to have a "Baby Randall" since he got back from overseas in June. Well, it hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be!! I figured I would have no problems and would be pregnant within the first couple of months. I have been off of birth control for a year and a half, and have been taking prenatal vitamins (prescription) for a little over a year. I was really depressed the first couple of months when it didn't happen, but I finally accepted that God would bless us with a baby on His timing! I think I had my last emotional breakdown about it back in November, and I finally let Him take control of the situation, and stopped trying to control it myself. So, I went to see Dr. Kimmel at the end of February and she did blood work and so on, and she concluded that she thinks that I am not ovulating even though I have a normal cycle. I just finished my first round of clomid, and we are praying it will be a success!!!! (NO MORE THAN ONE THOUGH!! HA HA!!!!) I will keep everyone updated on what is going on with us!!!!
